Scientists make gender neutral voices

Scientists from Vertu Nordicus and Copenhagen Pride have demanded to make the world's first gender neutral voice.

Digital Voice is used for all AI Assistance services from Apple's Syringe to Amazon's Alexa. The use of women or male voice is seen in it. This is the first time that voices can be seen in voice assistants who will not listen to the sounds of women or men to hear.

British tabloid Mirror's report says, 'genderless' has been given the name 'Q'. Voice technology has been made to improve it. Creators talking about adding this voice to smart assistants services.

The member of the project team, Julie Carpenter, said, "Creating gender-based technologies, choosing and accepting the issues of credibility, intelligence, and reliability - all of which are at the core of cultural discrimination. Q is now participating in this global discussion. "

"True innovation is a step ahead because it is taking a complex test of such confidence," added Carpenter.

Five voices have been recorded to make this new voice, whose voice does not fall between woman or man. Then these voices were taken in gender-neutral ranges through 'voice modulation' software.

This changed voice was tested by 4600 people. They were asked whether it is a male or female voice. Based on the answer, the voice has been changed and the sound of the perfect genderless voice has been selected, the report said.

Researchers are now keen to make the AE framework on the voice of the Qayyum so that it can be made a fully functional voice assistant in the future.
