What is Android 'pie'?

Google has announced the name of the new version of Android. Many could guess what the name might be. The name of Android 9 is Android Pie. Currently available for pixel phones, but this updated version will also be available for other brand phones by the end of the year.

This version is released without adding new features along with experimental results from March this year. Let's take a look at what's the 'Android' pie.

Android Pie's navigation system will be different from previous Android versions. It will be essentially signal-based. There will be home and back buttons, but there will be no 'Recent app' button for the latest apps. Instead of sliding down from the top of the iPhone tens, you will see the list of Recent app.

The person's choice has been given priority in the Android pie version. He will advise you by looking at your behavior. The new feature called 'App Action' will give you the opportunity to use specific shortcuts for specific apps, much like Apple's Syrian Suggestions.

Another feature, like App Action, is 'Slice', which will bring you some information about the app without app launching it. However, you will have to wait until the end of this year to get this feature.

The rest of the features, however, do not require much attention. Changes in battery and display features may not seem very big at the beginning, but it can be quite useful in time. The 'Adaptive Battery' feature will keep an eye on which apps you are using the most, and that app will give it the priority so that the cost of the battery can be controlled. And the 'Adaptive Display' will look at how much brightness you use in light, and so will the Brightness of the display justify.

Another big change for Android pie is 'Digital Wellbeing'. By using this feature as you saw in Apple's iOS 12, you can specify how much time you can use your phone or app. Time is over so this feature will tell you, 'a lot has been done, now keep it.'
